Chrome, the newest addition to Ireland's classic car and bike show circuit is set to take place on Sunday, July 2nd, 2023, from 11 am to 6 pm at the prestigious Leopardstown Racecourse. 

 

This highly anticipated event promises a day filled with captivating displays, live entertainment, and exciting family-friendly activities.

Whether you are a classic car and bike owner, collector, enthusiast, club member, or simply looking for a great family day out to kickstart the school summer holidays, this is your ultimate event. The Classic Car & Bike Show promises an unforgettable experience for the whole family, offering a delightful blend of nostalgia, entertainment, and community spirit.

The show is proud to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Triumph Classic Owners Club Ireland, a momentous milestone for the club and its passionate members. Join us in celebrating a century of Triumph excellence and witness the remarkable evolution of these classic machines.

 

But that's not all! To make your experience even more enjoyable, Chrome will feature live entertainment, a children's funfair, and various food vendors, making it the perfect family day out.

Proudly Supporting Chrome: The Classic Car Show

Formed in 1986, the Triumph Classic Car Club is a group of like-minded individuals dedicated to preserving and enjoying Triumphs - Herald chassis, Spitfires, the Vitesse and the GT6 to the Stag, the Dolomite/FWD range and the TR range, which are mainstays of the club to this day.

Celebrating its 100th anniversary of Triumph Production at this year's car show,  the Triumph Classic Owners Club has expanded the club to match the many tastes in classic cars, allowing other vehicles to go on our runs, which happen monthly.

About Lakers Social and Recreation Club

Lakers Social and Recreation Club is a support group catering to individuals with intellectual disabilities and supporting them to grow, learn and enhance their personal skills and confidence through various sports and social activities.  

Founded in 1989 by a group of parents, Lakers started as a basketball club associated with the Special Olympics and grew to 4 sporting activities. Currently, the club runs over 60 activities  (including cooking, art, taekwondo, and book club) a week for our 400 members, is open 6 days a week, and is supported by over 160 volunteers.

 

Membership to Lakers is offered throughout Wicklow and South Dublin and is a vital social resource for people with special needs.
